The named bundle of visit work, for example Standard outlet visit. A template holds entries (one task card each), and each entry holds the activities the representative captures. A beat, a visit route group or a visit plan names a template, and every visit the plan creates records only which template it uses. The web and mobile visit screens read the template's entries and activities live each time the visit is opened, so template changes reach planned visits until a task is started. The template record itself has no behaviour of its own: no validation or automatic calculation runs when it is saved, and Clone copies only its own fields, not its entries or activities. It lives in the Field Sales Setup app under Templates.
