A seniority band, such as Officer, Manager or Director, given to people through the Grade field on their Resource record. Its only effect is expense policy scoping: every expense policy names one grade, and Evaluate Policy applies a policy to a claim only when the policy's grade is the grade on the claim's Resource. Rank, Code, Description, Is Active and Partner Account are never compared. The grade on the payroll Employee record is not read. Grades are listed in the Expense List app under Dimensions. The standard Create Grade form has no Name field, so Name must be added to the form before a grade can be saved.
