Solar panels, inverters and batteries in India sell through distributors and dealers, are installed by a network of installer partners — often in Tier-2 and Tier-3 towns and on rooftops with weak signal — and then have to be serviced for years. Solar dealer and installer management software has to run both loops on the same serial numbers: the channel loop that moves systems — dealer beats, schemes, credit, despatches with e-way bills, GST e-invoices — and the service loop that keeps them running — installation jobs, warranty registration, AMC visits and the claims installer partners raise. xMatix runs both on one platform, with the field app working offline and the books in the same ledger.
The channel loop
Sales officers work geo-verified dealer beats, check stock by model, and capture orders offline with the running scheme applied by rule. Credit limits are checked when the order is taken, not after despatch. Panels, inverters and batteries move as serialised stock, so the dealer's sale binds a serial to the customer — and that event is what starts the service loop.
The service loop
The sale generates an installation job, routed by pin code and skill to your own team or an installer partner. The commissioning checklist — photos, readings, the customer's signature — is completed on the offline app, and the geo-verified completion registers the warranty on the unit's asset record. From there, AMC contracts generate preventive visits on schedule, service requests are checked for coverage at intake, and covered work becomes partner claims that settle into credit notes on approval.

Checklist: what a solar dealer and installer network needs from its software
| Need | Spreadsheets and chat groups | On xMatix |
|---|---|---|
| Know which serial sits with which dealer and customer | Model-level counts at best | Serial-level stock from despatch to the sale |
| Register the warranty | Paper card or photo, often late | The verified installation registers it |
| Schedule AMC and preventive visits | From memory | Generated by the contract, ahead of due |
| Pay installer partners for covered work | Monthly spreadsheet reconciliation | Claims from the job card, settled as credit notes |
| GST e-invoice and e-way bill on despatch | A separate billing tool | In the same books as the order |
| Work at the site with no signal | Notes typed up later | Offline app with a durable outbox |
