An older record meant to hold a person's leave balance for one leave type. It is inert: it appears in no app, menu or resource screen, and no payroll run, attendance, scheduling, job or mobile flow reads or writes it. Only the label and the resource link are actually stored, so its Leave Type, Total Available and Balance values are dropped on save. Its create form also has no Name box and the record has no numbering setting, so saving it from the form is refused with Name is required. xMatix keeps no leave balances: payroll reads approved leave requests that overlap the period, and a Leave Entitlement records the allowance as policy only.
