A record that names an image for a catalogue entry: a link to a store category item and/or an item, an image URL, an image type and a display position. These records are not part of the shipped catalogue. No seeded app or menu lists them, no store category item or item screen shows them, and neither the web Product Catalogue, the mobile catalogue nor the published storefront reads them, so filling one in does not change any picture a buyer sees. The picture on a catalogue card, in a kit drill-in and on the storefront comes from the image files uploaded to the store category item record itself: the newest image file that is not archived is shown in the app, and the storefront takes the store category item's files when the store is published. Use these records only for your own data, for example to keep an image reference imported from another system.
