A stored criterion attached to a cycle count: a field name, a comparison and a value, ordered by a sequence number. These records are not part of the shipped cycle-count process. Generating count lines reads only the cycle count's own scope fields (Item, Item Group, Filter ABC, Filter FSN, Storage Location and Maximum Items), and nothing in the platform reads, applies or updates cycle count rules, so adding a rule does not change which items are counted. No seeded app, menu or cycle count record page lists them; the cycle count record page shows only its count lines and its adjustment. Records exist only if a user, an import or an integration creates them, and they are kept for reference.
