Signing in to xMatix

You sign in to xMatix with your work email address. Your organization's administrator sends the invitation; the first sign-in takes a couple of minutes, and after that returning is a single step.

Prerequisites

  • An invitation email from your organization's xMatix administrator.
  • Access to the mailbox for your work email address — sign-in verification codes are sent there.

Procedure

Returning users may first see a remembered-account chooser. Select the intended work identity only on a trusted device; use Use another account when the displayed identity is not the invited one. A saved account is a sign-in convenience, not proof that the browser will open the correct tenant, so always verify the workspace after authentication.

  1. 1

Password and One-time code are separate sign-in methods; use the one your invitation enables.

  2. 2

Email must exactly match the invited work account.

  3. 3

Forgot password starts recovery without creating a second user.

  4. 4

Sign in submits the selected method after both required fields validate.

  5. 5

Passkey is available only after one has been enrolled for this account and device.

Step 1 — Open the invitation

Open the latest invitation from your organization's administrator and inspect the destination before following it: the browser should reach the official xMatix sign-in domain over HTTPS. Invitations can expire, so use the newest message. Confirm the page displays xMatix branding and an empty sign-in form; if the domain or certificate is unexpected, stop and contact the administrator.

Step 2 — Verify your email

Enter the work email exactly as invited and choose the enabled method—password or one-time code. For a code, keep the sign-in tab open, retrieve the newest message, and enter the code once before it expires. Never share the code. If no message arrives, check spam/quarantine and confirm the invitation address rather than registering another account.

Step 3 — Set your password

When prompted, create a unique password that satisfies the displayed policy and store it in an approved password manager. Complete the sign-in, then enroll a passkey only on a trusted personal or managed device. Verify the passkey with one successful sign-in before depending on it; keep an approved recovery method available.

Step 4 — Land in your workspace

After authentication, read the organization/workspace name and verify the expected apps appear. Open one permitted non-sensitive list to confirm authorization, then close it. Missing apps indicate role or license configuration, while an unexpected organization indicates the wrong account/tenant—report either without retrying invitations or creating duplicates.

Expected result

The invited work identity authenticates through an approved method and lands in the correct organization with only its granted apps and records. Password recovery and passkey options remain tied to the same account; no duplicate mobile or web identity is created.

Common problems

If the verification code does not arrive, check spam and quarantine folders first, then ask your administrator to confirm the invitation was sent to the right address. If you can sign in but cannot see an app or record you expect, that is an access question for your administrator rather than a sign-in problem.

Common questions

Can I sign in on my phone?

Yes. xMatix has a mobile app, and your account works in both places — the same email, password or passkey signs you in on the web and on mobile. Your administrator will tell you whether your organization uses the mobile app and where to install it from. Mobile setup is covered in its own getting-started page in this section.

What happens if I forget my password?

Use the reset option on the sign-in page — a verification code is sent to your work email, and after you enter it you can choose a new password. If you registered a passkey, you can keep signing in with it while you reset the password. If your work mailbox itself is inaccessible, contact your administrator.
